LAYUP (NZ version only)

Layup is an ArchiCAD add-on (available for most recent versions) developed to aid specifiers in the fast and simple production of joist and rafter layouts. It is one of the integral design components of the Superior Performance Flooring System, FLOORSUITE. Once the layout is drawn up a simple click of the mouse will label, calculate and produce a schedule of quantities to be used by merchants making ordering and delivery of components a breeze.

Layup for ArchiCAD 13

• Added hyBOUND (Rimboard still included for short term). hyBOUND has the same depth options but is 28mm wide and comes in 4.2m lengths.
• Any member less than 600mm long is to be labelled BLK and quantified as blocking. We now offer pre cut blocking so this will reduce costs to the end customer.
• Updated format for export to Excel
• Joist hanger font size (‘JH’) is user editable and describing the type of hanger i.e. (FMJH = face mounted joist hanger)
• Square or shaped ends for roof members
• MSG 8 Laserframe library part added. 90x45, 140x45, 190x45, 240x45, 290x45 in untreated or H3.1. Available in 600mm increments up to 4.8m lengths
• Webstiffeners have been amended to enable horizontally or pitched fixing for outrigger and rafter use
• Added ‘incl. nails’ to joist hanger description
• Note referring users to designIT for hanger options for hy90 and hyONE
